“Bye Mom, Bye Dad!” This is what we hear a lot of around our house these days. When asked where she is going, Annie almost always responds with “I’m going to Papua New Guinea!” She has been saying this for quite a while now, but because we are packing up all of our things, Annie is heading to Papua New Guinea more and more often (at least 3 or 4 times just this morning!).
Oh if only we could make it there and back in just one morning! And to just walk out the door and go would be amazing, but, we have a lot of things to do before we leave. Packing, paperwork, and yard sales are just a few of the things. However, the only way we are going to be able to go back to PNG, is if we reach 100% of our needed monthly financial budget and 100% prayer support.
Currently, we are at 78%, and are growing! We are aiming to be at 100% by July 31st! Please be praying for us, as we are setting up meetings here in NC, and are also visiting IL, GA, SC, and Canada to meet with friends, partners, and churches to visit and share our ministry with them. Also, please be praying about how the Lord would have you partner with us through prayer and finances to help us meet our goal!
Annie knows that some of her toys (her puzzles in particular) are going on a boat to PNG, and that we are going to fly! We need to buy plane tickets to fly back to PNG in mid-august. In order to do this, we need to be as close to 100% (fully funded) before we buy them, and would like to buy them by the end of June. To help us buy our plane tickets, we are having a yard sale this coming Saturday in Wake Forest NC. All proceeds are going towards the tickets! Let us know if you would like more information about the yard sale, or if you would like more information about our Wycliffe ministry.
We would love to share and encourage all of you with what the Lord is doing through our Bible Translation ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators!
